Community Advisory Group

Our Community Advisory Group was formed in 2020 to provide a way to share information, answer questions and seek local advice as we plan for the project.

Local voices on the project

Our Community Advisory Group has 20 members from across Gippsland.

Ian Gibson, Gippsland local of nearly 40 years, is the independent chairperson.

Meetings are held every six to eight weeks.

Behind the scenes

The group hit the road for a local port visit.

Starting at Port Anthony, the group heard about the role for local ports in Gippsland’s offshore wind industry before visiting the Toora Wind Farm where Site Manager and Community Advisory Group member Jono shared his experience of working on onshore wind farms.

Take a look at the video for a snapshot of the trip.
