Suppliers

We’re working with the local and global supply chain as we plan for Australia’s first offshore wind project.

Offshore Wind Supplier Showcase

Australia has the experience, skills and capability to support the growing offshore wind industry.

The Offshore Wind Supplier Showcase was created to highlight local supply opportunities and to give major offshore wind suppliers a glimpse of what local businesses have to offer.

We’ll present this showcase to major Australian and global contractors to highlight opportunities to buy local before starting procurement in the coming years, pending project approvals.

Offshore wind procurement

Offshore wind developers, like the Star of the South, typically procure around 10 main contracts, such as turbines, foundations, cable, substations, grid connection, transport and balance of plant.

We’ll share information about local businesses who are registered on our ICN Gateway with contractors bidding for these contracts.

Downstream opportunities through the successful contractors can include marine construction, logistic support, civil construction, site services, electrical and mechanical completions.

Register your interest

We’re committed to supporting Gippsland, Victorian and Australian industry.

We’re working with Committee for Gippsland, Kinaway Chamber of Commerce, Latrobe Valley Authority, and coal, oil and gas operators, to connect us with local suppliers.

Register your interest in supplying the project on our ICN Gateway.
